Last Sunday my parents were not at home. Our house is a very big mess. I made the bed and finished washing clothes….The house became very clean and beautiful. I not only cleaned the house but also cooked dinner. My parents came back and were very surprised. I was happy.

今天是星期六，我与爸爸一起去洗澡，洗完之后回到了家，就会有许多脏衣服，而这些衣服自然是妈妈洗了。最近我觉得妈妈很辛苦，又要上班，又要做很多事情。现在妈妈正在睡觉，为明天工作做准备，今天妈妈要洗许多衣服，我就帮妈妈洗衣服吧，给妈妈一个惊喜，妈妈一定会很开心的，对，就这样办，我就帮妈妈洗衣服了。说干就干。

我跑到卫生间，只见堆了一堆脏衣服，不由得“啊”了一声，突然，我想到了一个妙主意，家里有洗衣机，我用洗衣机。想得是挺好的，可我又发现，我不会用洗衣机，我不知道要调多久时间。啊。完了，我只能用手洗了。没办法，我端来一盆水，用了点洗衣粉，开始慢慢搓起来，这搓衣服的过程是多么枯燥无味呀，我好几次都不想洗了，可每次都咬咬牙坚持了下来，想着妈妈的辛苦，想着我要让妈妈高兴。终于，在洗了一半衣服之后，我放弃了，我发现背一直保持一个姿势特别地酸痛，手也在水里冻得很红很红，像猪蹄一样。我这才知道洗衣服是多么累呀。

妈妈醒了，发现了没洗完的衣服，我有点惭愧，可妈妈却很高兴，直夸我懂事了，长大了。看来有机会我要多帮妈妈做做家务了，妈妈又要上班又要干家务，可真不容易啊！

Doing Housework

It is our duty to help parents do housework ,and it is also a duty as a member of the family.

For me, I always wash dishes after dinner. Sometimes I sweep the floor on weekends, but my mother does that more of the time. At last I discovered an addition to housework which I had never felt before. I fell in love with the housework and I often do housework now.

My mother said I had a good time and I also found I truly love doing housework.
