　　Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write an essay on the importance of motivation and methods in learning. You can cite examples to illustrate your views. You should write at least 150 words but no more than 200 words.

　　There is no doubt that having motivation and mastering good study methods can exert an advantageous impact on learning, which makes learning no longer dull.

　　There are several reasons listed below. To begin with, study motivation helps students set a clear study goal, which makes them have a better understanding of why they want to learn and what kind of effort they can make. Moreover, it improves the students’ learning interest and encourages students to keep studying. For example, a student who has been dreaming of studying abroad has spared no efforts to learn English. Besides, effective learning is, by no means, equal to spending a great deal of time going to lectures or finishing massive exercises. In order to learn efficiently, students should find out the study methods which suit them best. Without proper methods, students will not achieve success in study.

　　To sum up, motivation and study methods are of great significance for students. With more value attached to motivation and study methods, students will eventually consider learning a pleasure and realize their goals.
