　　一月托福写作真题思路解析

　　01

　　题目：

　　Many companies provide important products or services but also damage the environment. Some people believe that the best way to stop companies from harming the environment is to require them to pay a penalty, such as a higher tax or a large fine when they cause environmental damage. Other people think there are better ways to stop the companies from harming the environment. Which view do you agree with and why? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

　　思路解析：

　　二选一作文。题目大意：惩罚破坏环境的企业，比如征税罚款，是阻止他们最好的方式？还是有其他更好的方法？对于本题，不管选择哪个都可以，但是需要可信论述。

　　比如：增加惩罚可以在一定程度上减少一些工厂对环境造成的损害。之后，进一步指出这种解决方案并不能完全解决问题。因为只有罚款可能也不一定能解决这个问题。可以指出罚款力度，或者让工厂转型等方式。

　　题目：

　　Teachers of young children at a primary school are considering making one change to better support the educational and social development of their students (aged 6-10). Which one of the following changes do you believe is most important for the teachers to make, and why?

　　-encouraging students to ask questions in class more frequently than they do now

　　-having students work together in pairs or small groups more frequently than they do now

　　-meeting with each student's parents more frequently than they do now

　　本题是三选一作文，并且是三选一之中的正向选择。写作的时候需要先给出自己的选择，比如选择第一个。之后文章正文第二段先写第二种和第三种在一定程度上其实也可以，但紧接说明有弊端，其实还是第一种方式更好。正文第三段和第四段写第一种的优势，比如，1.引导学生积极思考；2.活跃课堂氛围。

　　Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? People who do not work because they have enough money are rarely happy. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

　　思路解析：

　　同意与否，个人观点建议选择一边倒。可以写不同意，原因：1.rich people can do what they want；2.rich people have few worries.

　　题目：

　　Some people say that we should always follow our dreams, even if the dreams are very ambitious. Others think that we should focus on achieving realistic goals. Which view do you agree with? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

　　思路解析：

　　二选一作文，选择哪个都可以，但需要自圆其说。比如，如果选择第一个：

　　1. ambitious dreams lead people to a better and more satisfying life;

　　2. ambitious dreams motivate people to obtain progress in a long time;

　　3. challenging goals propel our society to move forward.

　　如果选择第二个：任何梦想都需要建立在hard work基础之上，设定一个实际的更容易达成的目标，能够让人们心理上得到慰藉。

　　题目：

　　Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Most people can handle problems and difficulties on their own or with the help from their families, so there is no need to depend on the government.

　　思路解析：

　　同意与否作文，建议选择一边倒。

　　不同意：1.小问题可以找家人朋友帮忙，但大问题，比如环境，犯罪等问题，需要出面帮助；2.的职责就是为人民提供服务，解决问题。

　　题目：

　　Many movies and TV (television) shows that are more than twenty years old are still considered to be of high quality and are called classic. Some people greatly value and enjoy watching classic movies and TV shows. However, other people believe that new movies and TV shows are usually of much better quality than classic ones and that watching new movies and TV shows is much more enjoyable. Which view do you agree with? Why?

　　二选一作文，选择哪个都可以，但需要自圆其说。比如选择第一个：1.经典老电影是无法被翻拍和超越的；2.老电影能提供更真实的社会场景，人们能了解到当时社会的环境，增加社会常识，并尊重历史。

　　Imagine that you must complete a project at school or work in partnership with (together with) one classmate or coworker. Which ONE of these qualities do you believe is MOST important for your partner on the school or work project to have? Why?

　　-The person is cooperative (easy to get along with)

　　-The person is good at finishing work on time and meeting deadlines

　　-The person is very creative and comes up with many good ideas

　　本题是三选一作文，并且是三选一之中的正向选择。写作的时候需要先给出自己的选择，比如选择第一个。之后文章正文第二段先写第二种和第三种在一定程度上其实也可以，但紧接说明有弊端，但是其实还是第一种方式更好。正文第三段和第四段写第一种的优势，比如，1）沟通融洽，利于建立友好关系；2）相互配合，提高效率。

　　Imagine you are working on a group project with two coworkers, and the deadline (the time that the project should be submitted) is approaching. The project looks good but could be improved if you all work on it more; however, this would mean that you miss the deadline. One of your coworkers suggests submitting the project in its current condition to meet the deadline, while your other coworker thinks it is better to wait and submit the project after the deadline so that it is perfect. Which approach is better in your opinion?

　　二选一作文，选择哪个都可以，但需要自圆其说。比如选择第一个：虽然不完美，有瑕疵，但仍有机会拿下这个project；选择第二个：错过deadline可能会错失机会，无法挽回。

　　题目：

　　Recently, some primary, middle, and high schools (students aged 6-18) have reduced the number of attendance days from five to four days a week. However, students spend 90 more minutes in school each day. In your view, is it beneficial or harmful to reduce the number of school days per week while extending the number of hours attended per day?

　　思路解析：

　　选择有益/有害都可以，但一定要提出明确的个人观点和理由。有益论据：减少学校开支/增加学生与家人相处的时间。有害论据：增加父母压力/学生难以保持长时间学习状态，学习效果不好

　　题目：

　　Teachers at a high school think that some of their students are bored or uninterested in learning. In your view, which ONE of these actions that teachers can take will be most effective in increasing high school students' interest in learning? Why?

　　-Using technology in their classrooms more often

　　-Asking students to work more often in groups or teams instead of working alone -Explaining how the lessons they teach in the classroom have a connection to events in the world outside the classroom

　　思路解析：

　　三选一题目，注意要选择其中一种，但三种都要讨论到。可以选择让步转折式的写法，先给出自己的明确观点，让步讨论另两种，最后回到自己的选择中，仍然要给到明确的支持理由。如，小组活动形式能让学生参与度更高/模仿自己同组组员的学习行为等。

　　题目：

　　Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Teachers had a greater influence on young people in the past than they do today.

　　思路解析：

　　题目大意：比起如今，老师是否在过去对学生有更大的影响。建议选择agree，因为在过去学生获取知识和信息的途径比较单一，所以会更依赖老师，但现在随着科技的发展，学生们能够从各种渠道获取信息，更能够独立思考。

　　题目：

　　Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Most people can handle problems and difficulties on their own or with the help from their families, so there is no need to depend on the government.

　　思路解析：

　　选择disagree，因为很明显很多事情是才能解决的。多举例说明，可以从医疗/教育/基础设施/大环境的方向思考。

　　题目：

　　Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Compared to people who live in villages and farm areas, people who live in cities are more satisfied with their lives. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

　　思路解析：

　　二选一利弊题，选任意一个都可以，需要给出充分理由，同样也可以使用让步转折的写法，分析两种选择的利弊，需要给出明确的个人观点，不要模棱两可。agree论据：更多就业机会/薪资更高/生活更方便/基础设施更完善，disagree论据：压力小/环境好/生活成本低
