英语地带强势回归已经一月有余,为了进一步提高晨读教练团成员的晨读教学质量 , 2023年4月26日中午12时30分,郭玉鑫主任带领晨读教练团成员召开晨读教练团团长交流学习会议。郭玉鑫主任、孙静蔚老师、全体晨读教练团成员参加了此次会议。
In order to further improve the teaching quality of Morning Time coaches, Director Guo Yuxin led morning reading coaches to hold an exchange and learning meeting with the head of the Morning Time coaches at 12:30 on April 26, 2023. Director Guo Yuxin, teacher Sun Jingwei, all the Morning Time Coach Team members attended the meeting.
会议伊始,郭玉鑫主任首先向各位晨读教练团成员询问了近一个月以来2022级英语系学生晨读英语地带内容的适应情况,每位教练团成员对自己近一个月教过的班级的情况进行简单的反馈。从晨读教练团成员的反馈情况来看,大多数班级能够跟着团长们大声朗读晨读的内容,并跟着团长做48个音标的手势,少数班级晨读状态不佳,优良学风尚未形成,晨读质量有待提高。
At the beginning of the meeting, Director Guo Yuxin first asked the members of the Morning Time Coach Team about the adaptation of the morning reading English content of the English Department students of Grade 2022 in the past month. Each coach team member gave a simple feedback on the situation of the class he had taught in the past month. According to the feedback from the Morning Time Coach Team members, most of the classes can read aloud the content of morning reading and make 48 phonetic symbols with the head. A few of the classes are not in the state of morning reading, and the style of learning is not good enough to improve the quality of morning reading.
会议过程中,各位晨读教练团成员也分别分享了自己的教学方法。从教学方法上来看,每位团长各有千秋。王金名同学倾向于理解每个句子的意思,在理解句意的基础上学习文章有助于我们提升对文章的背诵能力;刘茵茵同学倾向于多元化教学,在上课前,刘茵茵同学会播放英语地带的歌曲视频来活跃气氛,拉满同学们的晨读状态;张雪柔同学主张鼓励式教学,鼓励同学们举手发音,她再对部分发音不够标准的单词进行纠正,带领同学们多次发音不标准的单词;龙凤同学认为让同学先预习文章可以提高晨读教学的质量;刘淑仪同学偏向于情境式教学,她会将文章中出现的一些四级词汇挑出来,在教同学发音的同时给同学们拓展和这个单词意思相近的一到两个单词,并将这几个意思相近的单词的区别通过创设情境来帮助同学们理解等。
During the meeting, members of the Morning Time Coach team also shared their teaching methods. From the point of view of teaching methods, each leader has his own characteristics. Wang Jinming tends to understand the meaning of each sentence. Learning articles on the basis of understanding the meaning of sentences is helpful to improve our recitation ability. Liu Yinyin is inclined to diversified teaching. Before class, Liu Yinyin will play songs and videos of English Zone to enliven the atmosphere and arouse students' morning reading. Zhang Xuerou advocated encouraging teaching and encouraged students to raise their hands to pronounce the words. She corrected some words whose pronunciation was not standard and led the students to pronounce the words with non-standard pronunciation for many times. Long Feng thinks that having students preview articles can improve the quality of morning reading teaching; Liu Shuyi prefers situational teaching. She will pick out some CET-4 words in the article, teach students pronunciation, and at the same time expand one or two words with similar meaning to the word, and create situations to help students understand the difference between these words.
郭玉鑫主任对每位团长提到的教学方法表示认可并对接下来英语地带的发展进行了说明。首先,英语地带的学习内容将课程化,变成口语实践课。英语地带的学习内容除了基础的48个音标和四篇文章外,还有三首英文歌曲与形体表演教学。这门课程将会进行三轮考核,前两轮考核由每位团长负责,最终考核由老师们负责。晨读第一次考核于5月9日晚自习进行,第二次考核为5月末,最终考核成绩进入听说三级测试(学生考核成绩50%,教师考核成绩50%)和视听说测试等。同时,郭玉鑫主任提到,每位团长可以借鉴各位团长的教学方法,并在教学过程中逐渐形成自己的教学方法,带动同学们的晨读积极性,让每位同学最终都能提升口语表达能力,更加符合英语专业学生的标准。
Director Guo Yuxin recognized the teaching methods mentioned by each leader and explained the development of the English Zone. First of all, the learning content of the English Zone will be curriculumized into oral practice lessons. In addition to the basic 48 phonetic symbols and four articles, there are also three English songs and figure performance teaching in the English Zone. There will be three rounds of assessment, the first two being conducted by each leader and the final assessment by the teachers. The first assessment of morning reading was conducted on evening self-study on May 9th, and the second assessment was conducted at the end of May. The final assessment results were classified into listening and speaking test (students' assessment score was 50%, teachers' assessment score was 50%) and audiovisual speaking test. At the same time, Guo Yuxin mentioned that each head can learn from the teaching methods of other heads, and gradually form their own teaching methods in the teaching process, to drive the enthusiasm of students in morning reading, so that each student can eventually improve their oral expression ability, more in line with the standards of English majors.
会议最后,郭玉鑫主任总结到,团长之间也应该互相学习,借鉴经验,汲取对方优秀的教学方法,以更加热情的面貌进行教学,以更加优秀的教学方法面对同学,点燃同学们对英语的热情,将英语系英语地带的热情与优秀传承下去,同时也希望英语系的同学们能够通过英语地带的实践活动,从英语中获得自信。相信通过大家的共同努力,我们一定能将英语系发扬光大,共同筑就我们英语系,筑就我们的龙外!
At the end of the meeting, Director Guo Yuxin concluded that the leaders should also learn from each other, learn from each other's experience, learn from each other's excellent teaching methods, teach with a more enthusiastic attitude, face the students with more excellent teaching methods, ignite the students' enthusiasm for English, inherit the enthusiasm and excellence of the English department, and look forward to the students in the English department can pass the English Zone practice activities, from the English to gain confidence, I believe that through the joint efforts of everyone, will be able to carry forward the English department, jointly build our English department, make HIU better and better!
