　　Air has no colour or shape. It has no smell or taste. We cannot see it, but we can feel it. Air is very important. It keeps all people, animals and plants alive.

　　The air in our city was clean, but now it is dirty. Smoke from cars, buses and factories makes the air dirty. Trees can keep the air clean and fresh. We should plant more trees. We should walk and ride bikes more often.

　　Unit 11 Trees

　　Trees are important. They make our city beautiful. They can keep the air clean. They can cool the air too.

　　Trees are useful too.We get fruit and wood from trees. We use wood to make pencils, desks and chairs. We use wood to make paper too.

　　Trees help us in many ways. We should plant more trees. We should use both sides of paper. We shouldn’t cut down so many trees.

　　We live on the Earth. The Earth is a beautiful place. There are rivers, oceans, land and forests. There are many different plants and animals too. The Earth was very clean and beautiful in the past, but now some parts are dirty. We should do something to help the Earth. We should stop throwing rubbish into rivers. We should stop cutting down so many trees. We should stop using plastic bags. We should recycle glass and paper too. The Earth is our only home. Please love our home.
