　　本站此类文章只保留最新一期。如此前一季度内发过的某一项资料错过，现急需，请加微信1561944465 武太白 前行，发不少于10元的红包获取。更早的资料不久会重发，请勿索取。转发时请勿分组！如果本期文章不方便发到朋友圈，可赞赏十元或以上，获取分享链接。这套资源中的BBC广播剧版，其实前年春节发过一次，但不少朋友可能没有注意到，就错过了，加上最近我又做了点工作，把原著的文字PDF整理齐全了，这样听一听、读一读，看看BBC是怎么改编的，也不失为一种乐趣。如果愿意进一步深究，可以听听原文的完整朗读，我也找到了，那是更好。我要先科普一下福尔摩斯系列，这是“英文世界的金庸”柯南道尔的代表作，是世界侦探小说的巅峰之作。这个系列的作品从1887年出版第一部，到1927年推出续集，创作时间长达四十年，但中间有很长的间隔。案件发生的时间集中在1875-1907年间。福尔摩斯当时走红到什么程度？在《福尔摩斯探案集》中，1891年5月4日，福尔摩斯与莫里亚蒂教授一起掉入山谷死亡。原因是柯南·道尔厌倦此角色，刻意安排。但是，福尔摩斯的粉丝们接受不了这个结局，他们强烈要求作者推出续集，柯南道尔实在无法拒绝书商开出的巨额支票，在下一部作品中让福尔摩斯神奇地复活了。可见，有钱，真的能使鬼推磨，把福尔摩斯从阴间推出来！本来呢，根据福尔摩斯系列著作改编的电视剧、电影已经数不胜数了，朋友们完全可以在阅读过原著的基础上去看看这些影视改编版本，但是我想，从英语学习的角度来说，当然还是广播剧这种形式比较理想，因为它没有画面的辅助，唯有声音，最多加一点场景声，要想跟得上剧情的发展，听懂对话与旁白是必须的。这就要比看影视节目更能锻炼我们的听力。所以，今天我给大家介绍的不是福尔摩斯探案的影视改编版。我们来听听《血字研究》的上半部分：需要特别指出的是，这不是原文朗读，而是BBC录制的广播剧，这里的语言，不管是人物对话还是旁白，都是改编过的。来看看开头部分对应的文字：In the year 1878 I took my degree of Doctor of Medicine of the University of London, and proceeded to Netley to go through the course prescribed for surgeons in the army. Having completed my studies there, I was duly attached to the Fifth Northumberland Fusiliers as Assistant Surgeon. The regiment was stationed in India at the time, and before I could join it, the second Afghan war had broken out. On landing at Bombay, I learned that my corps had advanced through the passes, and was already deep in the enemy’s country. I followed, however, with many other officers who were in the same situation as myself, and succeeded in reaching Candahar in safety, where I found my regiment, and at once entered upon my new duties.

　　The campaign brought honours and promotion to many, but for me it had nothing but misfortune and disaster. I was removed from my brigade and attached to the Berkshires, with whom I served at the fatal battle of Maiwand. There I was struck on the shoulder by a Jezail bullet, which shattered the bone and grazed the subclavian artery. I should have fallen into the hands of the murderous Ghazis had it not been for the devotion and courage shown by Murray, my orderly, who threw me across a pack-horse, and succeeded in bringing me safely to the British lines.
