“能力档案”将颠覆美国高中评价体系，取代SAT！

　　每一步，与世界同步美国高考改革

　　最近，由近百所美国顶尖私立高中组成的联盟“Mastery Transcript Consortium(MTC)“发明了一种全新的学生评价体系——A New Model。它不含分数，也不评级，而是会持续追踪记录、评估学生的 8 项能力。预计10 年之内，这种动态的电子档案就将终结SAT、ACT等“ 美国高考”，成为全美大学录取新生的评价体系。

　　MTC成立的初衷就是颠覆美国高中的评价体系。发起人D.Scott Looney认为SAT、ACT、高中GPA等成绩，并不能全面体现学生的综合素质——靠刷题很容易考高分，成绩好的学生不一定就是优秀的人才，美国大学如果据此选拔人才很容易“跑偏”。

　　所以，MTC集合了一批来自顶尖私立高中的教育专家，研究并发明了一套全新的高中生评价体系——A New Model。要知道，MTC囊括了众多美国一流的私立高中，是全美著名高校的主要生源地。所以，为了抢夺优秀生源，美国高校必然会采取措施，主动对接这套评估体系。

　　A New Model刚刚发布，就获得了美国大学申请系统Coalition for Access,Affordability and Success(CAAS)的支持。使用CAAS申请系统的学校包括哈佛大学、耶鲁大学、普林斯顿大学、哥伦比亚大学、斯坦福大学、康奈尔大学、达特茅斯学院、杜克大学、密歇根大学等80余所美国名校。这一则消息，对于有留学打算的家庭来说，这无疑是个颠覆性的变革。

　　A New Model

　　对比传统的评分制，A New Model有三大特征：

　　其一：不看成绩—学生档案上没有课程名称其二：动态记录，一目了然其三：学校拥有极大自主性虽然能力鉴定模板是固定的，但每个学校可以自行决定对学生能力的评判标准——学校也可以根据自己的需求和培养目标，划定哪些才是学生应该重点把握的能力。

　　那么，不含分数，没有评级的A New Model是个怎样的评价体系呢?

　　上面这张图就是MTC给出的模拟示例：

　　这位学生的突出能力是：具有正直、诚实、公正、尊重他人的品德、善于领导他人、善于解决冲突、能协作他人完成任务、执行力强、富有毅力。

　　但也可以看到，他缺乏理性分析和创意思维。

　　形成这一份档案，一共涵盖了8大项、61个小项中的31个小项。

　　就像美国独立课程组织（The Independent Curriculum）执行总监Peter Gow所说，“A New Model提醒了我们所有人，我们不得不重新去思考，评判一个学生的真正标准到底是什么。”
