　　Suppose your class is going to provide volunteer service for the empty-nest elderly living in a nearby community. Write a letter to

　　1) inform your classmates about it, and

　　2) encourage them to participate

　　You should write about 100 words on the ANSWER SHEET.

　　Do not sign your own name at the end of the notice. Use “Li Ming” instead.

　　Do not write your address. (10 points)

　　Dear Classmates,

　　I am writing to notify you of a volunteer service offered by our class to help empty-nesters in the neighborhood to fulfill their desire for the taste of pleasure ahead of time.

　　The service will be provided on December 18, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. In the morning, we are going to help them to clean their rooms and decorate with new year stuffs. Then come the entertainment activities scheduled at the Community Center. Coupled with the Model Show performed by the elegant 港澳剧 ladies, our classmates are advised to elaborate some programs, preferably singing or interesting games.

　　Those who are willing to participate ought to sign up your names with your monitor before December 10 for the preparation of recreations. I truly appeal to all of you to come and add flavor into their lonely lives.
